It is such a dilemma to carry the winter coat across the world as we head off to that sunny holiday destinations. It not just take space in the suitcase but an unnecessary weight. But not for those who fly with Korean Air this winter. Travelers who are flying with Korean Airlines to Australia, New Zealand or the Far East will find that Korean Airlines has come up with an innovative idea – Coat Storage service! This is for all passengers transiting through their airport in Seoul, Korea.

How do you access this service?

It is quite simple. Passengers simply show their boarding pass at the counter located in Area A of the passenger terminal on the third floor at the Incheon International Airport. To retrieve the coat after your holiday, you only need to show the storage receipt at the same counter.

Your coats will be hung on sturdy plastic hangers wrapped in plastic sheet and be safely stored until you return from your trip. Then you can wrap up warm for the cold arrival back home :)

Availability

The coat storage service is available from December 1, 2010 until February 28, 2011 and the collection counter is open daily from 4:30am to 9:00pm.

Cost

Korean Airline’s coat storage service is free of charge for the first five days. Thereafter a nominal daily charge of KRW 2,500 will be added.

This is a great service for travelers who are going from cold climates to sunny climates and back. This way, you can enjoy your sunny holiday with no heavy winter jacket in your suitcase but more space for those souvenirs!
