Quebec City Market
Quebec Market is the best and top on the list. Yes it is a bit chilly but you will always see lot of people at the market. There are carol singers, sledging, ice cold cider and music along with markets selling some of the best food from the region. You can find gift items for your family and friends. And of course let us not forget that everything is covered with white snow outside so dress warm. Come see the holidays at it’s best in Quebec City.
Toronto Christmas Market
Held in the Distillery Historic District in Toronto, the market brings you holiday sights, sounds and tastes. You will find a showcase of hundreds of unique handicrafts, musical events, stage presentations, Rudolph’s Reindeer Zoo and of course Santa and his elves. The highlight is the 40 foot Christmas tree located on Trinity Street that features 18,000 lights and ornaments. If you have little ones, take them down Santa’s Lane and visit the gingerbread house and the fairy tale forest maze. It is a family event for sure!
Calgary Christmas Market
This time of the year is not to be missed! December 2nd to 5th the Festival of Crafts is at the BMO Center at the Calgary’s Stampede Park. You are sure to find more than three dozen fairs in the Calgary region that will entertain you through the holiday season. Many of these events are fund raisers and community organizations so you know that everything is going for a good cause.
Vancouver Christmas Market
Vancouver market is like a hot spot during this season. You will find music, holiday decorations and genuine hot spiced warm wine among other attractions. There are booths filled with traditional gift items, decor and sweets. The market runs from 1st December until Christmas Eve at the Plaza at the Queen Elizabeth Theater.
