Mobile News App For Travelers on the Go

There’s no doubt that technology makes our lives so much easier. Especially when it comes to traveling. We now have the luxury of doing quite a lot of things at the comfort of our homes or vacation spots. When we’re on the go, one of the things we miss is reading our favorite newspapers. You could say we hardly get a chance to read anything when traveling but what about long flights, long transits or when relaxing on the beach? Of course it’s hard to open a newspaper inside the plane without annoying the passenger next to you. Luckily, technology has come to save us again. This time, it’s called PressReader.

PressReader: The News App For Travelers

PressReader is an easy to use application that allows you to choose from thousands of full-content newspapers and magazines from over 100 countries. It’s a true mobile application that works on your favorite device. Supported devices include tablets, smartphones, eReaders, PCs and Macs. It runs on devices running Android, BlackBerry, iOS and Windows. So you don’t have to worry, if you use a tablet and a smartphone from different vendors.

What I love about this news app is, unlike on most mobile news apps, I don’t need to be connected to the Internet to read the newspapers. I can simply download them and read them offline at my convenience. What’s more, PressReader presents the entire publication in super high resolution as if they were originally printed. Navigating to each section is so much easier than a traditional newspaper. Provided navigator along with the preview makes this possible.

What excites me about this app is the convenience it gives to read my favorite publications where ever I go. Flipping though the pages is almost like flipping pages of a book. Its simple and intuitive interface minimize the learning curve. So it’s just a matter of browsing and downloading the publication you want. It’s so fast the whole setting up takes no more than a few minutes.
