Boutique hotels could be a term that many of you are familiar with. These are popular in North America and Europe. The trend of boutique hotels began appearing on the spot light in the 1980’s in cities like London, New York and San Francisco. These hotels are described as intimate, luxurious with ‘quirky‘ hotel environments, which are unlikely to be found among larger hotel chains. Main difference of these luxurious hotels from large chain hotels and motels is that boutique hotels provide personalized accommodations and services to its guests. Other than that, these hotels focus on quiet and comfort rather than amenities like WiFi and mini bars. Also, boutique hotels are known to be stylish and considerably smaller than the mainstream hotels, often range from 3 to 5 guest rooms.
