Asia is the home for 49 countries, and is the largest continent on our planet. That give travelers a great choice of travel destinations in Asia. You are bound to see multitude of tourist attractions. Some of them are the Great Wall of China, Petronas Towers – the world’s tallest twin towers, great architectural hotel Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, Taj Mahal in India and remarkable Lord Buddha statues across Asia. The choices are endless with quite a few UNESCO world heritage sites as well. Almost all of the Asian tourist destinations are comparatively cheaper to travel to. Cost of hotels/accommodations, food and shopping are considerably cheaper compared to most developed countries in the world. All these make Asia a great holiday spot for any traveler. Asia is truly a wonderful continent to roam around.
Can’t wait to have my own vacation in Asia..
See my posts in vacation rentals in Arizona too.
Thing about Asia is you can visit most destinations throughout the year as the weather is warm. Hope you get there soon.
Hi Salika, what a great list! I’ve been to 8 of them so far and would love to visit the rest. There’s way too many beautiful places in Asia that it’s hard to to really come up with a short list.

Hi Marisol, you’re right. It’s hard to come up with a short list when there are so many beautiful places in Asia.
What a fabulous post! It makes me realize how much I’d like to get over to Asia! It will be the subject of the 3rd volume of Chocolatour, so I’ve got lots of time, and I’m only now researching the 2nd volume, but I can assure you that I was intrigued by every entry on the list.

Love the infographic. This reminds me of all the places I still need to see :) I have been to quite a few of those places and a few I like to consider myself an expert on hehe. Great post.

You must have visited some of the places a lot then :) Thanks for dropping by.
Still need to see Asia — so many places are on my list. I should start with India or maybe go alphabetically. Seeing this infographic puts it into perspective. I should start.

With so many places to see, I know it’ll be hard to pick where to go first. If it’s possible, best would be to cover couple of destinations in one trip. For example, if you’re going to Singapore, you can also go to Malaysia by train so it will save on flight cost.
Great list! Beijing is one of my fav cities in the world! :)

Same here Dana :) Those countries are high on my list as well.
What a great list, I’ve only done Bangkok, New Delhi and Singapore so far. I definitely need to spend more time in Asia to discover all the other places especially Vietnam looks really nice.

There’s so many destinations within Asia to see so I’m also in the process of planning my trips there.
I’ve been to half! Never been to Japan, Taiwan, or South Korea. Booo

Half is impressive. Hopefully in few more years you can say you’ve been to all :)
I’m glad to see that India was included as it’s one of my favourite countries. I never really consider that it is in Asia but it’s pretty close! Asia is so close for us that I really should travel there more…Vietnam would be my choice!

I think most consider South East Asia when thinking of Asia, although South Asian countries like India and Maldives also falls under Asia.
Sad to say I’ve only been to two of these cities (Tokyo & Singapore). I really need to spend more time in Asia. I’m a bit disappointed with the tourist attractions they listed for Tokyo. They had so much to choose from and they put a beer hall?

They could have added more prominent tourist attractions in Tokyo, like maybe Disneyland.
What a nice, well laid out info-graphic. It is hard to condense a lot of travel information like that into a single graphic, but it seemed to be accomplished well here. This certainly gives me some ideas for traveling too.
