We as women love to pack our suitcases with bathing suits and sunscreen, and go on holidays. It is exciting and fun without a doubt but what about all the life changing moments for women travelers? Needless to say some places are not safe for solo women travelers. That however doesn’t stop from adventurous women from traveling alone. So what makes a great woman traveler? It’s their curiosity, sense of adventure and willingness to try new things. Those are of course out of top of my head as a traveler. So the actual list is longer.

If you are the type of woman who would roam the Arabian desert on a camel, complete a bicycle tour through Europe, an elderly woman taking a trip to Africa or studying Buddhism in a cave in Cambodia, I say you are a great woman traveler! Personally, travel for women should not be just about enjoying a drink by the beach and a massage at a spa. Rather an experience that could possibly change the way we see things personally, socially and emotionally.
So the next time, you as a woman want to take a trip, why not pick a place that will make you appreciate life and gives you a sense of completeness? You can travel alone if you’re adventurous or travel with a companion. They could be either a family member or a friend. There are quite a lot of woman travelers. What’s more, they have quite a bit to say about it too.
