Best of Orlando Attractions With Gatwick Getaways
Disney World Resort
At the top of everyone’s Orlando itinerary, Disney World Resort Florida is the ultimate in theme park attractions. Very much the place where dreams come true, the fairy tale begins the moment you step foot into the park and are greeted with the breath-taking Cinderella’s castle. Meet your favorite Disney characters, collect their autographs, and prepare to watch your children be completely mesmerized by the magic of it all. Disney World Florida requires at least seven days to explore the resort in its entirety, including The Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, the waterparks and Disney Boardwalk.
Universal Studios
The top spot for film fans, Universal Studios is the original attraction of the Universal Group in Florida. Opening originally in 1990, Universal Studios is now one of the most visited attractions in the world and home to ride adaptations of some of the most loved onscreen hits. Rides include the old school E.T. Adventure, Revenge of the Mummy, The Simpsons Ride and, live show, Beetlejuice’s Graveyard Revue.
Universal’s Islands of Adventure
The second theme park within the Universal Resort, Universal’s Islands of Adventure, is made up of seven different theme park lands not restricted by the Universal Studios production company films. Areas include the Seuss Landing, The Lost Continent, Jurassic Park, Toon Lagoon, Marvel Super Hero Island and the highly acclaimed The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
Wet ‘n’ Wild
The newbie of the Universal Resort family, the Wet ‘n’ Wild waterpark is back bigger and better than ever for 2012. Known for its adrenaline junkie chutes and flumes, thrill rides include the AquaLoop, Surfrider and the River Rapids. New additions to the waterpark for this year include child orientated Blastaway Beach, complete with a 60 foot sandcastle including over ‘160 interactive toys and 15 slides.
SeaWorld
When you want to kick back and relax for a day in Orlando, SeaWorld is as serene as it gets. Although there are a number of aqua inspired coasters, the main points of interest during your time in the park should most definitely be the phenomenal sealife shows and productions. From the Sea lions up-close Tour and SeaWorld family fun tour, to Dolphin Cove and Shamu: Close Up, there is plenty on offer to satisfy even the most avid of animal lovers.
Other attractions to consider include: LEGOLAND Resort Florida, Busch Gardens, Tampa Bay, Gatorland and Aquatica.
Look online and consider picking up an Orlando Flexi Land Plus ticket and a Disney World 14 day pass before you go. The best deals on super cheap Gatwick hotels are available to secure online in advance.
I sure would love to visit Orlando one of these days to visit all of these sites. I guess I’ll just have to make do with reading about them for the time being. *sigh*

Plan a visit there if at all possible. You won’t regret it.
We were just in Orlando last January and couldn’t get enough of the place. There are just way too many theme parks and resorts. Loved Wizarding world of Harry Potter!
