Grand Canyon in a steep canyon, which has been carved by the Colorado River. What is intriguing about this world famous canyon is it’s overwhelming size and intricate landscape. The rocks of the Grand Canyon has been preserved for many years and the layers of the rock shows the geologic history of North American continent.

  1. WOW! I just moved here and I have yet to do the Grand Canyon. I have hiked Humphreys Peak in Flagstaff and several around Sedona and Payson. Im working my way up to the Canyon rim to rim roughly 23 miles from what I heard. If your here and your a hiker you simply have to do the canyon….
