When I hear the word Miami, I picture a warm, sunny paradise on Earth. Apart from the weather and beach, Miami is also famous for its variety of food choices from Mexican to steaks. Of course you can enjoy these delicious meals at many restaurants and cafes in Miami but what if you are stuck at Miami International Airport (MIA)? Not to worry because you still can enjoy some great food at some fabulous restaurants inside MIA. Here are the five latest additions to the airport that you must enjoy.

Beaudevin
Beaudevin is a wine bar in an airport! That’s right. Who needs to go to a fancy restaurant or a vineyard to experience a good glass of wine. All you have to do is go to the Gate D24 to enjoy a glass of Shiraz while you wait at the Miami International airport. If you are not in to wine, they sell other liquors as well. You can also order a plate of prosciutto, melon or Thai Sing Buri Nuts to go with your drink. However, be sure not to get drunk and be an annoyance to others ;)
The Counter
If you are looking for a juicy burger, head over to The Counter. You can get a custom build burger that offers more than 300,000 possible combinations to make your taste buds go wild. So if you are not concerned about the calories, enjoy a burger at The Counter in Gate D33.
Icebox Cafe
For a simple bite like sandwiches and soups, Icebox Cafe at Gate D10 is the place. You must try the popular Adobo Pulled Pork Sandwich and the Prosciutto and Manchego Sandwich with Roasted Peppers. It will make you travel more often from Miami International airport. Oh, and save enough space in your stomach for dessert as well, because the cakes are just heavenly!
Corona Beach House
The MIA already has popular beer brands like Budweiser, Jose Cuervo and Heineken. There are also other favorite beach drinks like frozen margarita’s. And now you can also enjoy the famous beer Corona at the airpot. If you are in the mood for a chilled beer and some peanuts, head over to the Corona Beach House at Gate D23.
Bacardi Mojito Bar and Cocina Lorena Garcia
Mojito’s is one of the perfect drinks to have in Miami, and Bacardi is a great rum to fix the Mojito. If you are a Mojito lover, look no further than Bacardi Mojito Bar and Cocina Lorena Garcia. There is everything from Bacardi Anejo to Bacardi Limon. You can also enjoy these drinks with delicious dishes like Caribbean Jerk Chicken, Shrimp Ceviche, and a range of Salads. This is available at Gate D53 and D55.
With these great restaurants waiting for you at the Miami International Airport, who needs to stop at fast food joints or even get on-board to have an in-flight meal?
Adobo in Icebox Cafe? Interesting. Adobo is a popular dish here in the Philippines with a hundred and one variations. I’m quite curious on how they do it there. Were you about to try it out, Shamis? :)

It is interesting for sure. You never know the cook who makes the Adobo Pulled Pork Sandwich might be from Philippines :) Guess we both would have to go there and try it out the next time we are in Miami airport :)
Could be, and honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised. Actually, now that I think about it, that is one of the many variations of adobo that they do here, and my brother’s preferred way of having adobo. After it’s cooked with the soy sauce and vinegar and peppercorn, and all that, they pull the meat away from the bone and then serve it up with some local rolls they call pan de sal. Some, like my brother, quickly deep fries it so that it’s nice and crunchy. That one’s great to go with rice. :)

1. Beaudevin…. Good to know about it. Sometimes, when I left the airplane, my stomach says: “Hey, I need some food, and you need some wine! Go find it”…
Thanks Shamis, this really helps!
