Here we start the exciting year 2009! To a person like me, it’s all about traveling so I thought I post about the hottest places to visit in 2009. In USA, Washington DC became one of the top three travel destinations for 2009. Why? Because Barack Obama sworn into the Presidential Office in January! As President Obama made history, people made this one of the places to visit and explore. In Washington, activities for the Presidential Inauguration are already sold out. Something to keep in the back of your head is that the new President does have a four year term. So if you can’t make it in 2009, you can plan it for the year ahead as well. People may explore many fun things to see and do during these four years around Washington D.C. Besides the many excellent tourist attractions, you just might see President Obama in the Oval Office.

In Canada, Toronto is the place to be during the month of March. Celebrate Canada at our 13th Anniversary “Canada Blooms”, the Toronto Flower & Garden Festival. Held at Metro Toronto Convention Center, this is Canada’s largest and most prestigious flower and garden festival. It’s a paradise bursting with six acres of glorious gardens in full bloom, more than 100,000 square feet of green thumb shopping and much, much more. I’ve been there and let me tell you, it’s just amazing.
